Hooters

Jon and his band of merry men (Ken, Mike, and Paige) went to of all places.....Hooters! I was not there and might have served as the voice of reason, but I was busy slaving away at JC Penney. No, I think it was hysterical that they went and I give them a lot of credit for "playing it straight" in such a macho atmosphere. Check out the Hooters Girl in the background of Jon's picture. You know the only reason this picture exists is becauase nobody would believe him (including me) without verifiable proof.
I would say that is a proud face!! UPDATE: This just in...thanks to Mike, I have recieved a priceless pic of Jon and his origami. Even in such a straight place he can manage to be totally gay! Thanks Mike!

Julie & Alvin's Wedding

Well, Julie and Alvin officially tied the knot on Saturday. Jon and I flew home and stayed with Anil and Megan. The wedding was beautiful, the reception was beautiful, but most especially, the bride was beautiful! Julie looked phenomenal in her dress and Alvin looked very handsome in his tuxedo. They did a great job with the wedding and were the most relaxed bride and groom I have ever seen. Anil, Megan, Jon, and I were joined by Lauren and her boyfriend Dave, along with Decky (my theatre director and professor from my days at EMU).
We had a blast!! And of course I started the night off looking clean and put together, but after a few free drinks (open bar) and a few spins on the dance floor, by the end of the night I was looking a hot mess!! The transition is evident in the pictures below as well.
Julie and Alvin saying their "I do's."
Table 17 was our table and became rather popular by the end of the night. Not becuase we are so cool, but because there was an open seat and the DJ sat with us and ended up giving us shout out's all night long!!

The beautiful bride Julie!!

The Groom Alvin!

Atleast I still have my tie on in this picture.

I don't know how I snapped right at the second the dance floor lights cut across buddy's face, but he is looking like a scary version of Batman's "The Joker."

Anyone who knows me...knows my love of themed pictures. Here, the whole table took the party favors (chopsticks) and took a picture with them. The transformation begins...

Bring on the silly pictures!

I couldn't be prouder!!

Jon looking like he is smelling a party-goers long, luscious locks.

Ahhhhh, buddy and Meg slow dancing!

A prom picture!

Family Christmas 2007

I went home for Christmas to ye ole Flint, MI. It was nice to see the family again, but I was like a nomad traveling from home to home to home. It was nice this year that we were able to have a very relaxed Christmas that didn't involve us rushing around from place to place hauling gift after gift. By far, the most enjoyable experience was Guitar Hero that my sister got from her fiance Greg...hence the many many pictures of family members holding a guitar. I hope you enjoy the pictures. There wasn't any consistency, mainly a lot of random pictures.
My nieces...Sasha and Suki

Ther are no words....

Okay, so not my BEST picture by a mile, but I was having fun, despite the look of agonizing pain!
